Achievements and Updates:

· EWPA advocates on the neighborhood’s behalf to make sure that park maintenance work continues to be performed and rat eradication efforts undertaken.

· EWPA lobbied for adoption of a curfew law to give police the ability to address late night noises and vandalism.

· EWPA organizes Cove Cleanup Days to pull trash off the banks and out of the marsh; Clean-the-Bay assisted from the water-side.

· EWPA engaged a professional landscape architect to survey the park and make recommendations; her work will integrate the findings of an arborist who diagnosed the conditions of the trees and found some in poor condition because of the harsh weather.
